Elevate and Stay Active
Elevate and Stay Active is a partnership programme between Healthy Options and Atlantis Leisure which draws on our combined skills, knowledge and experience, and the strong partnership we’ve built since 2011. The programme offers a pathway for people requiring low levels of support to participate in physical activity, health and wellbeing sessions.
Elevate and Stay Active offers clients the chance to belong to a community of like-minded people, learning and supporting one another through regular activity and social sessions.
Elevate and Stay Active is accessed either via self-referral or by referral from any other third sector organisation, GP or other health professional. The programme is made up of a rolling weekly timetable of physical activity classes, education and social sessions delivered by health & wellbeing professionals.

Elevate and Stay Active is designed to provide ongoing access to self-management strategies for the community of Oban and Lorn. This service is for people looking for support to manage their long-term health and wellbeing. Unlike ADAPT and THRIVE, Healthy Options 12 week specialist programmes, Elevate and Stay Active is open ended and can be accessed through self-referral; as a partnership programme, it is run through Atlantis Leisure. It offers a proactive, preventative approach for how to live more active lifestyles, improve social connections and, in turn, improve mental health & wellbeing.
What is Self-Referral?
This is the collective term given to health and wellbeing services in the community which you can refer yourself to. Healthy Options Elevate and Stay Active is one of these services. These services differ from others in that you are able to refer yourself to them without requiring someone like your GP’s approval first - although health professionals can also still refer and recommend Elevate and Stay Active to you. An assessment process is followed for each application to make sure everyone is receiving the support appropriate to their needs.
If you think you would like to join Elevate and Stay Active, we would love to hear from you! Click here to access our self-referral portal. Your details will be placed on our waiting list and reviewed by a member of the Healthy Options team, who will then be in touch to discuss your self-referral and ensure we are the right service for you.
