Future Friday
Future Friday will begin a week on Friday (10th of May) at 7:00pm. The cost of this will be £4 per week. Payment is made on the night at reception after being signed in.
This is a weekly transitional event aimed exclusively for Primary 7 children attending schools in Oban and the surrounding areas. Each week we will offer a varied programme for the children to partake in, aiming to continuously offer something for everyone, no matter their likes and dislikes.
Kevin & Lucy have been out chatting to schools already, but to give parents a little bit of information;
No booking is required for this, the children simply turn up at 7pm each Friday night (there will be no Future Friday on Friday 24th May). There is no obligation to attend specific amount of weeks, they can come as much or as little as they’d like.
There will be no Café but the vending machine will be open for snacks.
Children who would like to go on our Pool Inflatable must adhere to the swimming admissions policy.
Future Friday is a non-structured event, children are free to make their own night. Staff will actively encourage them to take part in the programme but the children are free to participate as much or as little as they choose. This also applies to staying in the building, we cannot force a child to stay at Future Friday.
Schools are off for a long weekend in May. This year we are trialing running camps on bank holidays and in- service days to help support working parents.
With the support of Connecting Communities Collective and Atlantis we are supporting running monthly Aquanatal classes. This is a free class for anyone who is 16+ weeks pregnant.
