Tweenies Crèche, Smarties Nursery and Smarties Parent & Toddler Group

Tweenies crèche is a fantastic opportunity for your 2 year old child to interact with other children through fun play.

The crèche operates a healthy snack programme which can accommodate special diets.

The children at Tweenies use the same facilities as the children in Smarties. There is lots to do including sand and water play, jigsaws, role play, large lego, art and craft, magnets and many more toys.

The crèche is open Monday and Friday afternoons 1pm - 2.30pm. Spaces for this facility go fast as it only holds 10 children at each session.

Smarties Nursery runs every weekday morning from 9.30am until 12.00pm for 3 - 4 year old children.

The nursery uses the squash court viewing lounge at Atlantis Leisure as the main nursery room. We also have easy access to the tennis courts, squash courts and dance studio which are all used regularly.

Smarties offers a healthy snack program and can cater for special diets.

The children have planned activities for each day e.g. baking, outdoor play, library and craft.

Smarties helps with your child's preparations for school with fun learning. Our qualified staff will help expand your child's experiences.

Entry to Smarties Nursery

Parents and carers of children over the age of three can register with Argyll and Bute Council to take up the FREE nursery place available to their child. If your child is in Tweenies they will automatically be put in Smarties for their FREE place.

Nursery education benefits children's ability to help with new experiences and expands their knowledge in line with the curriculum for 3 - 18 year olds.

Smarties Nursery and Tweenies Crèche is run with qualified staff and follows the Care Commision and Argyll and Bute Council regulations.

Smarties Parent & Toddler Group

Are you looking for a way for your child and yourself to socialise with other children and parents? If so, why not come along and join us in our parent and toddler group which runs every Wednesday morning from 10.30 to 12.00.

We are based in the soft play area in Atlantis Leisure where the children can have fun and meet other children, sing songs, and also take part in art & craft, and parents have the chance to meet other parents. Why not come along for a coffee and chat?

Session to be paid every week to the allocated person and the rate is £1.20 per session, so if your child is aged 6 months - 3 years old, come along and join us. We look forward to seeing you.
