Who is Leisure Link for?

  • People receiving means tested benefits

  • Full time students aged 18+
  • Anyone aged 60+

What will the leisure link scheme give to me?

How do I apply?

  1. Check to see if you qualify to join scheme (details in next column)
  2. Complete the application form which you can download from this site or pick-up from Atlantis Leisure, sign the form.
  3. Please ensure that you have the supporting evidence you need. All documents will be treated in confidence and returned immediately.
  4. Take the completed form and evidence to Atlantis Leisure Reception and you will be issued with a card when you next visit.

Do I qualify and what documentation do I need?

Means Tested Benefit Recipients (Category 1)

Single Adult Only
If you are on a low income and receive a qualifying benefit for yourself you will need to provide evidence which shows the benefit you receive.

Adults and Children
If you are on a low income and receive a qualifying benefit for yourself and other dependents you will need to provide evidence that shows the benefit you receive and the names of who it is for.

Note: Low Income Benefits are:
Income Support/Minimum Income Guarantee, Housing Benefits, Council Tax Benefit, Income Based Job Seekers Allowance.

Note you need to re-apply for this option every 3 months.

People with disabilities (Category 2)

If you have a disability you will need to provide evidence in the form of a Disability Living Allowance, Incapacity Benefit or Severe Disability Allowance. If you need a carer to help you take part in activities they will be admitted free of charge.

Full Time Students 18+ (Category 3)

If you are a full time student and are aged 18+ years you will need to bring your current student union card, current course enrolment form, or get your Leisure Link application form stamped by your college or university.

If you are in full time education and are under 18 years old, junior leisure facilities prices apply.

60+ (Category 4)

You will need proof of your age in the form of a birth certificate, pension book or passport etc. If you receive a low income benefit (as listed above in Category 1) please apply as a Category 1 member.
