Play Sport Assistance Guidelines
If your club, group or organisation is looking to promote and develop sport, health & fitness in the Oban & Lorn area and requires assistance please complete the attached form and return it to us. The Play Sport committee will consider your application and will inform you of their decision as quickly as possible. Play Sport wishes to assist where initiatives will have an immediate impact on sport in the area, and will only provide support where things are not likely to happen without it.

- Sports development events
- Club development
- Travel to tournaments and competitions
- Nurturing sporting talent
- Facilities hire
- Coaches
- Administration support
- Marketing support
- Finance
- Equipment
Criteria for assistance for your initiative:
- Encourages and increases participation in sport
- Promotes fitness and health
- Brings coaching opportunities to the area
- Ensures participation in sport is affordable
- Develops potential of those showing promise
- Assists, enables, and empowers clubs
- Develops links with other organisations
- Promotes squad development
- Participation in interschool, district, & regional events & competitions
Play Sport is an Atlantis Leisure sports development initiative. All of our work is aimed at making sport available to all, affordable, and fun. We will assist wherever we can and want to make this process as simple as possible.
